As of June 30, 2023, teachers and students are no longer able to use School Passport (by GG4L) to log into MakeMusic Cloud. If you've been using School Passport, your platform will need to be migrated to one of our other sign-in options prior to June 30, 2023.

To avoid interruption to your access, take one of the following steps:

  1. Connect your organization to Canvas or Schoology using our in-house integration. An account specialist will be happy to assist you with this process. Reach out to them at sales@makemusic.com to get started.

  2. Connect your organization to Google Classroom using our in-house integration. All account holders using Google accounts can easily transition to using Google SSO by clicking on the Sign in with Google button on the MakeMusic Cloud login screen and entering their school organization Google credentials.

  3. Perform a password reset. Admin, teachers, and students who can receive email from MakeMusic Cloud can reset their password now to maintain uninterrupted access. Users can perform this action by following the forgot password link on the MakeMusic Cloud login screen. Teachers can also manually reset passwords for students who cannot receive emails.

  4. Do nothing (not recommended). If you choose to do nothing now, on June 30, 2023, students and teachers in your organization will no longer be able to log in with School Passport. While following the forgot password link on the MakeMusic Cloud login screen will still allow a password reset and access to the account, those unaware of this change ahead of time may feel unsure of what to do. We recommend preparing for this change prior to June 30, 2023.

To avoid interruption to your students’ MakeMusic Cloud accounts, contact an account specialist at sales@makemusic.com to start the process.
