We have identified an issue affecting a small subset of SmartMusic’s interactive library where the title may fail to open in Safari on iPad. SmartMusic will show an error page when attempting to open the title:

 

The affected titles are expected to open correctly in Chrome, which is the supported browser for Mac, Windows, and Chromebook devices. Currently, the only workaround is to use one of these devices so that Chrome can be used instead of Safari. Note that Safari is the only supported browser on iPad at this time.

 

Our teams are exploring potential solutions to allow the titles to open in Safari, and we will post comments to this article when more information becomes available. Please click Follow at the top of this article to receive an email when an update has been posted.

  • Music hangs after loading to 100% in Safari but does not display an error message.
  • Music fails to open in Chrome (on Mac, Windows, or Chromebook devices).
