*Your teacher may be able to reset your password for you. Ask them for help before following the steps below unless they asked you to use them.*

To reset the password for your MakeMusic Cloud account, select Forgot password? on the Log in page (https://home.smartmusic.com).



The Reset Password page appears. Enter your email address or username and select Reset Password.



The Forgot Password Email Sent message appears.



If the email address you entered matches an email we have on file, a message appears in your email inbox with instructions to reset your password. If you do not receive an email, check your junk mail folder and make sure that *@makemusic.com and *@smartmusic.com are added to your email account's safe list.


Open the email and select Reset password.



The Reset Password page appears. Enter your new password in both fields. Keep in mind that your password needs to be 8 characters and contain at least one upper case character, or one numeral, or one special character. Select Reset your password to confirm your new password.



You can now log in to MakeMusic Cloud using your new password.
