2021.06.16 update: We have released an update to Compose that we expect to resolve this issue. However, if you are still encountering an error message when attempting to save changes to an imported MusicXML file, please click Submit a request above and include your original MusicXML file so we can continue to investigate.

We are aware of an issue impacting a limited number of users that is preventing them from saving changes in Compose to files originally imported as MusicXML files. Again, we have only seen this in a limited number of cases. It is not a universal issue for all imported MusicXML files.

Our team is actively investigating this issue. If you are experiencing this behavior, please click Submit a request above to contact our Customer Support team, and please attach a copy of the original MusicXML file.

Refreshing the app or closing the browser tab will lose the unsaved changes, so if possible, please keep your browser tab open.

As a precautionary measure, you are encouraged to capture screenshots of the unsaved work to preserve a visual record.

We will update this article as we learn more. Please click Follow above to receive emails when this article is updated.
