Assessment improvements

• We've made some great improvements in assessment. Over the last several months we've developed a new assessment engine that offers improved accuracy, particularly with lower pitched instruments and voice. In addition it is less resource-intensive, improving performance on entry-level chromebooks.

Platform management features

• You can now easily allocate the Play PLUS seats you have purchased.
• Now you can also control whether your classes use free or premium content. Learn how.

Pin a method book to your class

• Today you can provide all students with access to your entire method book, even if they don't have a Play PLUS subscription. To do so, simply pin one method book to any of your classes. Learn how.

Coming soon

• In the next few weeks, you'll be able to edit an existing assignment. This will allow you to change content settings as well as change the timing and which students are impacted by the assignment.
• We're working hard to deliver a first version of "early/late" assessment that will provide feedback about when a note is rushed or dragged.
