When assigning a SmartMusic sight-reading exercise, allow students to automatically progress to the next excerpt after a certain level of mastery is met (say 80%). Since students are at so many different levels of sight-reading proficiency, this allows everyone to be challenged.

    Not even an sight-reading exercise but an etude or scale in a method book would be awesome. A sequence of assignments would be great. A lot of the kids send me low effort examples. Reassigning is always the option at this point. So it's constant back and forth of low effort examples. They just want to get the assignments done.
