What is the official recommendation for any percussion submission?  Is it different when using a pad v mallets?  Does it matter to select MALLET PERCUSSION over xylophone?  Why so many choices?  

The scores I received are low...sometimes I don't hear the student in the recording.  I have played them too....I'll brag just a touch, I played them perfect.

I had my percussion sign up:

Primary: Percussion

Secondary: Mallet Percussion

(and why do they see flute, baritone etc.)

I have tried w/percussion mode on, off, with headphones, w/o headphones.  

Please create a 90 sec. SM PERCUSSION steps to submit both mallets and pad.

    My next observation:

    NON - pitch - use PERCUSSION MODE   But rename it DRUM MODE.

    Mallets scored better when selected xylophone w/percussion mode OFF.  still not a good score.

     

    Need to be able to select: Snare or bass drum....I would suggest having SM only assess SNARE.  Again, too many choices between non-percussion instruments. If they can play snare, they can play bass drum etc.

    Since they are not responding to all of our comments I have been taking video of all of the problems and sending it to them to prove a point. That might work
