I think for small screen devices there ought to be an app(or a mode) that does everything except display the music for the student.

This was discussed at a SM panel discussion on which I participated.  Potentially a student could just set their Smart Phone on/near the stand and then play from the method book or sheet music.  This would increase the number of students which would be able to use the new SM.

Or being able to access grades with my phone... Getting to a computer in this day/age can be at times difficult. Making an application that doesn't work on mobile devices seems crazy to me.

I have lots of students with smartphones and not so many with laptops!  Please make this an app for a greater variety of mobile devices.

Has there been any additional movement toward a smartphone app?  My students would greatly benefit from this addition as they almost always have access this way, but laptops/desktops are not as accessible.

Access on a Smart Phone would make SmartMusic much easier to use for the families that are separated and the kids have to go between mom and/or dad's place

My students would also benefit from a smart phone app! Please consider this ASAP!

I've asked multiple times for them to just get rid of the "your screen is too small" window. If they want, put a disclaimer of "It might not work on your device"... and at least let the kids slug through.

Any opportunity that a kid can be given to work at it should be given, let the kids work it out if that's the tech they have.

I was so excited to get SmartMusic.  We have chromebooks for the classroom, but students can't take them home.  It's very common that students have an old smartphone handed down from an older sibling or parent.  The fact we can't use this platform on those devices makes it mostly unusable for my students at home.  Very few people rely on a home computer in the year 2019.
