I've been trying to troubleshoot an issue that one my students is supposedly having. On the "New SmartMusic" app, he's telling me that it's not doing any playback sounds.

His volume is turned up, his other apps are making sounds. I had him try with headphones. I also made sure that the app had "permission" from the iPad to access the I had him try reinstalling the app and restarting his iPad, but with no luck. microphone and sound. 

Any suggestions?

    Hi all. One quick thing to try for this. Swipe down from the top right of the iPad screen to display the iPad's quick settings menu. Make sure that the bell icon isn't red and crossed out. If so, tap the icon so that it's white. Once that's done, check back in SmartMusic to see if you're getting any sound.

     

    If you're still not getting any sound after this, I'd definitely suggest contacting our support team by clicking the link at the top right of this page.

    Were you able to solve this?

    Because I'm out of ideas and my student isn't able to do the assignments.

    Still nothing! I even recently made him try it on a different iPad. I even made him create a second account. 

    I might try to reach out directly to SmartMusic people
