My students are having difficulty submitting assessment recordings on drumpad. Do we need to change audio settings? We are using internal laptop microphones on MacBook Air laptops using Chrome. Any advice?
There could be a couple of issues, but the most likely issue is your students need to change the microphone setting in SM. In each assignment/exercise/song, there is a microphone icon to the left of the play and record buttons. Click the microphone icon, select percussive through microphone. The option to change to percussive through microphone should also appear in the pop-up window when they hit the record button. They will need to do this for every song. Also be aware that SM has some difficulty with assessing rolls accurately.
