I assigned an exercise to one of my clarinet players, but she just e-mailed me saying that that particular exercise was only for the C instruments. I'm really confused as to why I have to go find a particular instrument in order to assign it? Why can I not just assign whatever # to all of my instrumentalists? (Does this make any sense? Is this happening to everyone?) What am I doing wrong?

Really frustrated with 1) how NOT streamlined SmartMusic is when assigning things to students, and 2) now I have to go find their part for a # & assign it individually.

I think I may go back to having students submitting a video of their work - SmartMusic is more work than it's worth.
