I'm assigning things for students, but they aren't showing up in my gradebook. Makes it difficult to keep track of things....

Same.  I ended up assigning it twice because I didn't think it worked the first time since it didn't show up in my gradebook.  There must be a glitch today.

Same here. I'm glad to see other people having trouble. I think I might have assigned it a few times!

I'm also having students claim they've joined the class, but are waiting for me to admit them, but they're not there in the "waiting/pending" area? Is there some kind of glitch/system problem we're unaware of?

That problem, for me, has been mostly traced to kids not following the setup directions correctly, so they didn't end up entering the class code...

I wish we could just enter them in batch ourselves. Our district paid for all their subscriptions, and we have all their email addresses and passwords. It would save so many headaches and problems

I have a similar problem.  My assignments show up fine and there's is a blue dot alerting me to the presence of a submission but, when opening the gradebook, there is no submission to be found.  There is a student in the class roster who does NOT show up in the gradebook grid and it is this student who has made the submission.  We're both stuck until I can get SM on the phone to hit REFRESH on my gradebook.  I think this may be the solution for all.
