When I assign my students music to practice, the accompaniment and metronome tempos fluctauate - going faster, then sloewr. This is unacceptable, especially since she is paying for this service. Any one else run into this probelm? If so, any suggestions?
Yes, I have encountered this problem as well. I think it's because the metronome is trying to follow a live recording (where performers inevitably slow down and speed) but sometimes the metronome does a terrible job at following the recording. Really frustrating and it makes the piece unusable.
